Galax-E-Mail

In the future, e-mails are no longer sent via internet - they are delivered via space ship. The player controls one of those delivery ships and needs to finish various deliveries. The ship can be freely moved through the 2D plane, the goal is to kill all enemy bases (which also spawn hostile ships) and enter the wormhole which opens up afterwards. Gameplay is the traditional twin-stick shooter style: one stick moves the ship while the other aims and fires. Each destroyed base also rewards a buddy, basically a copy of the main ship which mimics its moves. Those buddies do not only increase firepower, but also serve as extra lives. However, after each death the emails are scattered through the level and need be collected. On the way there are a variety of extras to find which can be positive (e.g. health, power-shot or more aggressive buddies) or negative (e.g. slow speed or reversed controls). The effects stack. The difficulty increases after each level and before starting a new game, it can be set between 0 and 100.
