Ladybird Galaxy

Ladybird Galaxy is a fixed-screen arcade game. The player controls a space ship which collects gems in order to achieve a high score. A combo multiplier starts after collecting stars which allows to earn even more points. It runs out after some time, but this can be prevented by collecting more stars. Ladybirds which move over the screen but don't actively chase the player cause the loss of a life when touched. This is made more difficult by the big turning arc of the ship. Revenge is only possible after collecting special stars which allow the space ship to briefly shoot. Occasionally laser beams appear which have to be dodged by utilizing the fact that the ship appears on the opposite site after leaving the screen. After enough points are earned, the difficulty level rises and the game ends after all lives are gone.
