Pokémon Electric Yellow

A retelling of the Pokémon Adventures manga focusing on Red and Yellow’s perspectives. It closely follows the original storyline but with small tweaks to emphasize key moments. The first arc, spanning three volumes, adapts Red, Green, and Blue. Red receives a Bulbasaur and Pokédex from Professor Oak, sets out to collect badges, and faces his rival Blue and the thief Green. Along his journey, he captures Pokémon like Pikachu, Snorlax, and Aerodactyl, and helps Misty defeat Team Rocket. Red, Blue, and Green later confront Team Rocket in Saffron City, defeating their leaders Lt. Surge, Koga, and Sabrina, each wielding one of the Legendary Birds. Red’s Venusaur and other Pokémon evolve through these battles. He ultimately defeats Giovanni and becomes the Pokémon League Champion, with Blue as runner-up and Green in third place. The next arc, based loosely on Pokémon Yellow (four volumes), follows Yellow as she searches for the missing Red, who was captured and frozen by Lorelei of the Elite Four. Red’s Pikachu escapes, and Yellow—trained by Blue—sets out to rescue him. This storyline bridges the original Kanto saga and the later Johto events.
